The Fifield's
retirement home
When we grow up we are going to live (on the ground floor) on
this magnificent European Boulevard Great Pulteney St. This is a delightful Georgian residence for
two with spacious bright rooms; high ceilings and a flat four minute
walk to Bath city centre.
A convincingly fine place to reside in the city, which enables
the visitor to go in and out of town without having to negotiate any hills.
There is even a ‘Marilyn’ shopping trolley to make visits to Waitrose
extremely simple.

"…for a
fine Sunday in Bath empties every house of its inhabitants,
and all the world
appears on such an occasion to walk."
"Northanger Abbey" by Jane Austen

A warm
welcome awaits you in this elegant Georgian Bath ground floor flat. If you’d
like to live with original cornicing and working shutters, you are in the right
place.
|
| Our website attempts to evoke the relaxed atmosphere of the Gentleman’s
Residence, so where a glass of wine or a mug of coffee seem appropriate, they
are there. Luggage and shoes are
on the floor, coats, bags, hats and cardigans put in an appearance; although
‘we really are neat freaks’ we wanted to show you how comfortable and easy
this flat is to inhabit, by using images that suggest that someone has just
‘got up from the chair’ and gone into town.
This Gentleman’s Residence will be tidy and a bit frighteningly clean
for your arrival, but we do want you to make yourselves comfortable and at
home. Our most regular visitors count this as their Bath address, which is
exactly what we wanted for them.
